WARREN CONNECTICUT – I used the opportunity presented by a good sunset today to photograph a friend’s house from its best angle, but an angle that is impossible from the ground. This is an example of a “drone as cherry-picker” image. The second image is a drone’s eye view of a barn, actually in Washington Connecticut.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – We had a major blizzard today – not an uncommon occurrence in these parts at this time of year. Both images taken with my Leica Monochrom and1955 replica 28mm lens.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – Out with the drone again today. It’s important to get flight time in. Photographically, I prefer the “cherry picker” images to the “Google Earth” images. I’m flying and shooting with a DJI Mavic Pro.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – Another day of droning – this time on Lake Waragaug, and trying a four frame stitch, which worked fine. not a very exciting image. I’ll be working with stitches with this thing to build up larger files than the native 12 meg files from the camera.
