MANHATTAN – We were hit be an unseasonably early blizzard today. It was hell on traffic – the worse gridlock that I’ve ever seen here. But visually pretty good, so I’m back in my groove. All images shot with my iPhone.

Re-cropped and re-processed from the original. The ability to go back and re-imagine images is one of the key advantages to shooting raw files and preserving them with non-destructive edits.

MANHATTAN – We had another heavy snow storm today – winter seems to be a never-ending phenomenon this year. I was feeling centered and symmetrical today. Images shot with my Sony A7rii converted to monochrome (by removing the camera’s Bayer filter).

MANHATTAN NEW YORK – I spent this morning in the vicinity of New York Hospital in a blizzard – a poor day for humans but excellent for photography. All images taken with Sony A7Riii and lovely 25mm f2.0 Carl Zeiss lens.

On this day last year (day 2638): A very special bottle of wine. I mean vey special. It drank marvelously – still maintaining some front after 50+ years in the bottle.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – We’re here for the three day Presidnts Day weekend, pretty much snowed in. Very high winds and low temperatures bring with wind chill down to -20 degrees F. Basil the Norwich Terrier refuses to step out of the house so we have to make an accommodation for him in the garage. There is a landscape out there, but photographing it is an unappealing process. I did nonetheless manage a few images of windswept landscape.
