NEW YORK NEW YORK – Wow. The light here is just spectacular this time of year. I had a vey good day out with my Monochrom and some difficulty editing so here’s a sampling.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I spent some time this afternoon with Lois Connor and Tom Gitterman walking through Lois’s show at the Gitterman Gallery. The gallery is in midtown in the lovely deco Fuller Building, so I spent some time on the sidewalk hunting for today’s image.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I visited a gallery on the far West Side with a group of friends from the ICP this evening. Photographing photo shows is not really that productive for me, but I caught a neighborhood auto repair shop on my way there. Not my best day ever.

On this day three years ago (day 722): Guggenheim. This on the other hand is one of my favorite images ever, and the only really satisfactory image that I’ve been able to make of the Frank Lloyd Wright Guggenheim Museum on Fifth Avenue.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – OMG, what a cold. This thing is torture. After all day in bed I went out to a movie with some friends and on the way grabbed a couple of images on 34th Street.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Day two of being sick as a dog. I managed to get out of the house today to the pharmacy to stock up on cold medication. My photo of the day was a quick shot of a news seller on Lexington Avenue, something that I ordinarily wouldn’t bother with but what else am I likely to see today?
