BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS – I walked around the seaport area today, which was all vacant lots four years ago – there is now an amazing wave of construction. My tine Ricoh continues to amaze me in terms of the malleability of the files in post.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – We added a swimming pool to our property 20 odd years ago, which is a long time given the savage winters here. So the pool requires major maintenance, which started last week. This means, joy of joys, that I have a construction site to photograph. I find empty swimming pools sinister. Shot with my Leica M10-P and a variety of wide lenses.

MANHATTAN NEW YORK – The fixtures in out bathrooms here were about 20 years old. In the guest bathroom the stem broke off on the hot water tap. The German manufacturers no longer exists so repairs ar impossible. In the master bath shower the temperature control valve was stuck on too hot. So we had to tear both bathrooms apart to replace the fixtures. Not pretty.
