BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS – My monthly trip to Boston is jam-packed this month. Ugly weather. I decided not to go out to shoot, so I shot a four frame stitch out my hotel window using my laptop case to try to suppress reflections in the glass of the window, which doesn’t open. Nice looking construction site. Taken with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm dual range summicron lens.

BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS – I had a couple of hours fee this morning in Boston, and actually did pretty well with my Fuji Xpro-1 and an 18mm lens (28mm equivalent). In the evening we were guests of a client at their box at Fenway Park – I caught the Green Monster with my iPhone – five images stitched in photoshop. The Red Sox lost to the White Sox (who in Chicago actually follow this team – I’ve never met a Chicagoan who isn’t a Cubs fan), but we had the pleasure of watch balls carom off of the wall.

BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS – My second day in this ancient Commonweath. I took a walk along the harbor with my Sony Nex-7 and Leica 24mm Summilux but didn’t come up with much. There were a few tired looking pedestrians and C+ light. The second image below proves that I was out there. The best shot of the day may have been in my hotel room – the first image below. Some days it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed.

CAMBRIDGE MASSACHUSETTS – I arrive early for a dinner meeting here and managed to take a walk along the Charles on this perfect early Summer day. Both images taken with my Sony Nex-7 and 24mm Leica Summilux lens – the second was taken at f1.4 with a .9 neutral density filter.

On this day last year: West Cornwall. A sweet little town with an Alice’s Restaurant vibe.
