WARREN CONNECTICUT – A hectic weekend of board meeting preparation. I just barely had time to get my image for the day, which is a sad, neglected-looking little thing. Even my Leica Monochrom needs a little guidance to produce a good image.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – We trekked down to the Benrubi Gallery (newly relocated to West 26th Street) for the opening of a show of work from India by our old friend Laura McPhee. Coincidentally Benrubi also had up a room full of gold printing out prints by Linda Connor. Linda has used the last of this paper in the world to print this show so we bought one. Images below are the pictures that we’re bringing home.

On this day four years ago (day 744): Blizzard This is an example of the weird (climate-wise) area that we live in. Today it’s shirtsleeve weather – actually balmy. Four years ago there was a blizzard.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – I drove up here today on an errand for an estate that I’m the executor for. Absolute peak Fall foliage. Of course I shoot in monochrome . . .

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I spent some time on Sixth Avenue (nee Avenue of the Americas) and Lexington Avenue today, of course with my Leica Monochrom over my shoulder. I’ve been experimenting with using the 90mm Summichron (a lovely lens) as a walk around tool. Since I shoot primarily wide this means that I’m doing large (9 frames or larger) stitches. This seems to be working ok.

WASHINTON DC – I’m here on some James Beard Foundation business, and had a chance to photograph, not very well, on my walks back and forth from Union Station to my meetings. The light was dull – sort of a miasma of politics – so I didn’t get much. The best image of the day was out the window of the offices that we met in.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I had a surprisingly productive day today walking from 96th Street to the sixties through Riverside Park. Shot with my Leica Monochrom and a 50mm or 90mm lens. Most images are stitches of many frames.
