NEW YORK NEW YORK – I shot on the East side in Midtown today in intermittent heavy rain. Much better conditions for photography than the High dull skies that we’ve had for the past few days. Shot with my Leica Monochrom and 28mm Summaron Lens from 1955.

Day 2,720 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

On this day four years ago (day 1,259): Foley Square. Here’s a classical statue behind 60 Centre Street bearing a shield with the arms of the State of New York, looking sad and thoroughly defeated. I’ve always wondered how this got there.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – I’m here on my own today which gives me an opportunity to fly my drone indoors, which takes some concentration, but it turns out that it’s doable. I captured some interesting perspectives. The straight down Google Earth view can actually be interesting indoors.
