NEW YORK NEW YORK – Well . . . remember those meetings that I wrote about over the weekend? They’re now. I managed to slip out for a half hour to shoot around midtown, so here you go. Nothing earth shaking here, just lucky to have some images.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – I took a break from meeting preparation to take a walk with my Leica Monochrom and 90 mm Elmarit lens. I ended up doing a lot of stitches – the lens was a bit long for most of the subjects that I saw. The example below is three frames stitched.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – Well, here it is, mid-November, and we’ve had our first snow. Not much – three inches or so – but a clear demarkation of the start of winter.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – This was a day largely spent preparing for meetings happening next week. So I took some images out my window with my Leica T and the marvelous 280 mm Leica Telyt-R lens. We stayed in town this evening to attend an event celebrating the 40th anniversary of the discovery of Lucy at the Explorers Club.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Still shooting the Noctilux, mostly wide open. Today I’m out with a 1.8 neutral density filter (six f-stops of darkening) which lets me shoot wide open on this sunny day. Here we go with a fairly common subject for me, two frames stitched.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I’m still lugging around the Leica Noctilux f.95 lens. it weighs almost two pounds, more than doubling the weight of my Leica monochrome camera. Here is some architecture from the street and in image at a book party for a friend’s new novel.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Some Calder sculpture has appeared in the plaza in front of the Seagrams Building. I’m rushed today so I paused for a few moments to shoot details with my f.95 Noctilux lens. Nothing tectonic here from a photography standpoint.
