WARREN CONNECTICUT – today’s image is a farm stand. It really is a farm stand, actually on a farm owned by the family of our neighbors, the Tanners, since the late 18th Century. The corn is freshly picked within the hour, which make a huge difference. Note the honor payments system. This is a small town.

THE BIG ISLAND, HAWAII – A dreaded travel day – truly so because the trip home is 14 hours long, including the layover in Honolulu. I don’t focus well, visually, on travel days so it’s always a scramble to fulfill my “one photograph every day . . .” pledge. I managed a few snapshots of tropical greenery with my iPhone before departing.
