NEW YORK NEW YORK – Out with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm APO Summicron lens. Lovely Spring light today so I shot with pretty good effect.
Day 2,735 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Back here at last. I experimented today with my 15mm Carl Zeiss super=wide lens. Sorting through thirty or forty images from the day there are none that I like – I don’t know whether its the focal length, the way the lens draws, or just an off day. It seems to fool the light meter in my Leica Monochrom – a lot of over-exposures despite ⅔ of negative exposure bias. It’s going back into my gear locker for now.
Day 2.734 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day two years ago (day 2003): Spring? April can be a truly nasty month in Litchfield County Connecticut.
ANTIGUA – More tropical paradise shot with my Leica Moncocrhom.
Day 2,733 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

ANTIGUA – Nothing consequential today – more work shooting wide open experimenting with bokeh. Shot with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm Summicron Asp. lens.
Day 2,732 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day four years ago (day 1,271): Smithsonian Art Museum
ANTIGUA – I’m doing further experiments with “bokeh”, the quality of the out of focus portion of a lens. The hokeh of my 50mm Leica Summicron Asp. isn’t bad at f/2.0.
Day 2,731 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day two years ago (day 2000): Paris. Yawn.
ANTIGUA – We hung out on the beach today, with me scrambling a bit to find a suitable image. The first image is Maria in her natural habitat shot with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm Summicron Asp. with a neutral density filter to permit shooting wide open to isolate the foreground.
Day 2,730 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day three years ago (day 1,634): Lake Waramaug
ANTIGUA – Day two in a Caribbean Paradise. I’m starting to get my photographic bearings. Still shooting with a 10mm Voigtlander super wide lens on my Leica Monochrom – still a ways to go in terms of producing interesting images.
Day 2,729 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day three years ago (day 1,633): More fog
