WARREN CONNECTICUT – Some experiments today. Two shots with my new Sony 100-400 GM lens. It has very good corner to corner sharpness and contrast, but I don’t like the fact that it extends when it zooms. Renders nicely. Maybe a keeper and maybe not. Also experimenting with focus stacking hardware and software in the shot down the hall.

MANHATTAN – Lucky light on Park Avenue today – a good example of why I always carry a camera, in this case a Sony A7riii with the lovely Voigtlander 21mm Nokton.

MANHATTAN – I decided to put together an unusually nice dinner for two. Here we are with mise en place for a salad course, exploiting really nice lettuce and tomatoes from a farmers market near us in Connecticut.

Day 3609 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
