PARIS – We spent some time at the El Greco show at the Grand Palais here. There is a lot to comment on – I was most moved by the sinister portrait of Cardinal Nino de Guevara, the Grand Inquisitor of Spain, which was actually on loan from the Metropolitan Museum, 10 blocks from home in New York. I enjoyed a perfect lunch of country Pâté while Maria had a separate business lunch.

PARIS – Abroad with a camera in the First and Second Arrondissements. Pretty intensively photographed real estate, but getting my feet on the ground.

On this date 10 years ago (day 7 of one photo every day): Bandon Beach Oregon. Here’s another case where the posting date and EXIF data differ by a day. These photos were taken October 22, 2009 according to their EXIF data; the posting date of October 21 is more likely correct – there is a different series that starts in the morning of October 22 that I remember as a day later. Anyway, all images are in Bandon Oregon in late October. This is a re-edit of thiis image.
MORFONTAINE FRANCE – We spent the weekend here with a friend of long standing, recovering from the flight from New York and gearing up for a week in Paris.

On this date nine years ago (day 370 of one phooto every day): Party. Originally posted for October 19, 2010, but the files’ EXIF data says October 20. I have other pictures on both dates, so my picture a day project is covered either way. The picture is from Antonio Monda’s party, which was more likely on a Saturday than a Sunday, so the EXIF data may be wrong.
MORFONTAINE FRANCE – I’ve joined Maria in Paris for a week of meetings on her part and fun on mine. Our starting place is near Chantilly, visiting friends here for the weekend. I was fortunate to have the chance to play the famous golf course here.
