NEW YORK NEW YORK – Tied up with phone calls at home I became a bit concerned about getting my image for the day so I shot some abstractions with my Sony 7rii. Then later in the day I actually found some decent light at Lexington Avenue and 87th Street.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – No alleys today – it turns out that they aren’t that common – Manhattan real estate is too valuable to loose the frontage for the entrance. I’m keeping at it, though. To an abstraction from the facade of the Park Avenue Armory and a snap shot of Laura and Baby V.

PARIS FRANCE – We arrived here this morning for the long Easter weekend. We hit the ground running spending the morning around the Place de la Concorde. Pretty touristy stuff.

BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS – Dear diary: I had an heretofore unscheduled trip to Boston today. As you may know I’m not at my best on travel days so I’m stuck with “what the hell is this?” images taken on both ends of the trip. Good luck guessing on this one.

On this day two years ago (day 1,241): Lots of snow. Thankfully, last year’s image was pretty strong.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – A hectic day here. I finally got around to thinking about my daily photo at dinner time, today shooting with my iPhone 6S, which is as capable as the last generation of pocketable cameras. Let’s see if you can guess where this is (one of my favorite modernist icons).
