NEW YORK NEW YORK – I found myself in an area on the far West Side of Manhattan that used to be called Hell’s Kitchen, did time as home for auto showrooms and repair shops, and is now morphing into a modern, densely packed residential area. Here’s an image of some construction in progress. The Manhattan apartment retail market is very tight for renters, but as all this space hits the market should we expect a bust?

Day 1,792 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.

Woody, Are u alright? You’re backed up and it’s affecting me too; not sure what to make of the void between 9/12 and 9/23. I view your posts everyday.

George –
thanks for your interest.

I got very busy. I’ve managed to take pictures every day but have fallen behind in posting. I’m putting up two posts a day until I catch up. I ordinarily expect to post about a week after a picture is taken. This gives me a chance to have a little editorial distance.
