NEW YORK NEW YORK – I spent today at large in New York with my Leica Monochrom. My best effort was a six frame stitch of the Bank of America building across from Bryant Park – showing dramatically foreshortened perspective.

Day 1,692 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.

On this day last year (day 1,327): East 100th Street. Here is my rephotograph of Bruce Davidson’s 331 East 100th Street, along with Davidson’s original. Obviously a lot has changed in the intervening 50 years.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I don’t think that I’ve told you about my sore foot. A torn plantar fascia. I’m seeing a physical therapist for it on Broadway in the 60s so I’m spending time around Columbus Circle, where today’s images come from.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – We found ourselves in Tribeca this evening at a benefit for Pilobolus, a wonderful dance company. As we move toward summer the days get longer so there is actually daylight out the windows of the event space, presenting this view of the entrance ramps of the Holland Tunnel.

On this day two years ago (day 950): Dan Colen – a Crack in the Clouds. This is an outtake that I’ve decided that I like better than the image originally posted.
