NEW YORK NEW YORK – Really nice light on the North wall of PJ Clarke’s. I shot this with my Sony A7Rii and translated to black and white. In the translation I was able to adjust gray values to bring out old lettering on the wall that I hadn’t actually seen while snapping the image – in this one respect translating from color is superior to the native black and white that I get from my Leica Monochrom.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – A single iPhone image today – I’m distracted by other things going on in my life.

Day 2,807 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

By the way I haven’t forgotten about June 21. The image for June 21 is on a computer that I don’t have access to today or for the next week. I’ll post June 21 once I have access to the image.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I made it home late this afternoon in time to miss a major thunderstorm. The aftermath, out our window, was a major rainbow in very odd light. What you see here is what actually happened. The rainbow was taken with my Sony A7rii and the lovely 16mm Zeiss Batis lens – two frames stitched to get really wide.
