CAPRI ITALY – We’re hanging out here for a few days staying in a apartment near the Piazzetta. I foraged for photos, while Maria, her sister and our son spent the day being broiled in the sun on rocks at the Faraglioni.

On this day seven years ago (day 624): Well what do you know. Capri: a wedding in the Piazzetta.
CAPRI ITALY – We made it here after a longish day of travel. We spent two weeks here most summers when our children were younger. It hasn’t changed, except that it’s more crowded than every. The Piazzetta is one of the best people-watching spots in the world.
We plan our travel here around The Capri Literary Festival, an annual festival organized by our friends Antonio Monda and Davide Azzolini.
Day 3179 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this date eight years ago (day 257 of one photograph every day): Cayambe Ecuador
MILAN – I spent a good part of the day exploring City Life Milan, a major new real estate development in the heart of Milan. What was most surprising was the generous and well-maintained open space in this otherwise crowded urban environment.
Day 3178 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day three years ago (day 2082 of one photo every day): Fondazione Prada, Milan. Obviously late June is our time to be in Italy in general and Milan in particular.
TODI ITALY and NEW YORK NEW YORK – A long travel day: we started at dawn in Todi, drove to Pisa which actually has direct flights to New York, turned in our rental car, waited hours because Delta’s flights were mostly cancelled because of a computer failure on their part, miraculously boarded and flew to New York, and took a taxi home. All shot with my Leica Monochrom.
Day 2489 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day six years ago (day 698): Parati Brazil.
