WARREN CONNECITCUT – I stopped on College Farm Road today and shot stubble fields in a very light dusting of snow. College Farm Road takes its name from the fact that it passes through the Tanners’ farm; the Tanners hold the farm under a 500 year lease, dating from 1798, from Yale College. The lease is the first recorded instrument in the Warren Town Hall.

Tuesday December 25, 2012 Christmas Day

WARREN CONNECTICUT – I took a walk today, Christmas day, with our friend Gianni Ferrari from Milan. We passed by a spot on a neighbor’s property where he keeps old disused farm equipment. Taken with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm f.95 Noctilux lens.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – My weekend was packed with non-photo work. I snuck out midday to run some errands. Our neighbor, Luke Tanner, is shifting his farm away from dairy to hay, which he sells. Here are some of his hay bails Taken with my Leica Monchrom and 50mm Summicron lens from 1958.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – I took a break from organizing AV on this very, very cold and clear day, capturing sunrise across a cornfield at the bottom of the valley that defines our view, and a rambling house that was an inn 80 years ago. Taken with my Nex-7 and 50mm Leica Summilux lens.
