PARIS – We had a busy day of shopping today so not much going on visually. Here’s a view of the Institute du Monde Arabe.

PARIS – Still shooting my little Leica Q. Tonight we attended the birthday party for Laure de Gramont, at Maxim’s. Laure’s party took over the whole of Maxim’s. This is the reason why we’ve come to Paris.

On this day six years ago (day 107): Infrared I was shooting infrared six years ago with my Leica M8 which was good for this purpose because it had poor infrared filtering. I just recently bought a Sony a7R and had it converted to IR shooting, so you’ll be seeing a number of new IR images from me.
PARIS – What a miserable day. I’ve come down with an ugly upper-GI bug that has me lurching from bed to the bathroom and back. All events for the day were cancelled: for me and moving around Paris is impossible. This is where the rubber hits the road in photo-a-day space. I did manage to keep the string alive with a couple of images from the house that we’re staying in – one of them turned out to be very good.

PARIS – I’m traveling this week with one camera (actually two if you count my iPhone): a Leica Q, a fixed lens, full frame Leica with what is currently Leica’s best 28mm lens. I just decided to keep it light this time.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I was really distracted today, getting on top of things for our trip to Paris tomorrow. So here’s a dish towel from our kitchen. This was actually an accident as I was getting my little Leica Q ready for the trip, the only camera that I’m taking.
