NEW YORK NEW YORK – Today’s post is about New York but I’m actually writing it three weeks later from Todi Italy. My internet connections have been sketchy for the past few weeks so I’ve gotten behind on posting – I’ll catch up to date over the next few weeks by posting twice a day.
In actual fact July 11 was a distracted day in New York as I prepared for a trip to Boston followed immediately by three weeks of vacation in Europe.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – More construction work. Here we have foundations for retaining walls being built to deal with the change in elevation around the new addition.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I walked the far East Side in the 50s today in good summer light with a purpose: to revisit some spots that have been of interest to me and shoot them seriously. All with my Leica Monochrom and 1962 “rigid” Summicron lens.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – We entertained some old friends at dinner in our kitchen today. I spent a good part of the day distracted, planning the menu, shopping and cooking. My image for the day is an iPhone shot captured at dinner.
