WARREN CONNECTICUT – Out again flying my DJI drone (the model with the Hasselblad-branded camera) just after sunrise, looking for good light. The camera is very good in most respects, but handles back-lighting badly, which is too bad.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – I flew my drone today in the late afternoon hoping to catch shadows and textures on the eight or so inches of ice that winter has deposited on the landscape. This is what I saw.

NEW MILFORD CONNECTICUT – We drove up to Connecticut today and stopped for lunch at DinerLuxe in New Milford, a truly excellent riff on the classic diner. Shot with my Sony A7riii and 16mm lens.

MANHATTAN – I spent a good part of the day looking up in midtown Manhattan. No one ever does this out of fear of looking like a tourist.
