MANHATTAN – I attended a lunch party celebrating the birthday of a wine-loving friend. There were wines the likes of which I will never see again: a 1966 Ch.Latour magnum, a 1966 Ch. Petrus magnum, a 1966 Ch. Lafite Rothschild magnum, and two bottles of 1966 Mouton Rothschild. Amazing. All were fresh and delightful, except that one of the two bottles of Ch. MR had lost it punch. Really a once in a lifetime opportunity. Shot with my iPhone.
