MANHATTAN – Francesca’s friends gave her a “sprinkle” today – that’s a second baby shower. I was there.

On this date ten years ago (day 11 of one photo ever day): Rainy Chicago

PARIS – We spent some time at the El Greco show at the Grand Palais here. There is a lot to comment on – I was most moved by the sinister portrait of Cardinal Nino de Guevara, the Grand Inquisitor of Spain, which was actually on loan from the Metropolitan Museum, 10 blocks from home in New York. I enjoyed a perfect lunch of country Pâté while Maria had a separate business lunch.

PARIS – Abroad with a camera in the First and Second Arrondissements. Pretty intensively photographed real estate, but getting my feet on the ground.

On this date 10 years ago (day 7 of one photo every day): Bandon Beach Oregon. Here’s another case where the posting date and EXIF data differ by a day. These photos were taken October 22, 2009 according to their EXIF data; the posting date of October 21 is more likely correct – there is a different series that starts in the morning of October 22 that I remember as a day later. Anyway, all images are in Bandon Oregon in late October. This is a re-edit of thiis image.
