MANHATTAN – Right here on 55th Street and Park Avenue a building was demolished, leaving naked the party wall between it and a neighbor. The building came down in a few weeks: it was a “modern” office building from the 1970s (or so) rendered obsolete by changing technology and market forces. I’ll be watching the space to see what goes up there. The expected case is a condominium tower – housing replacing office space.  By the way, I wrote this but I’m begininng to sound like an AI chatbot.

Day 6,076 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

Shadow of a building

Looking back exactly 13 years to doors. I’m writing this remotely, away from my files documenting my photo-a-day process, so I have no idea where this is. Day 1,328 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
