WARREN CONNECTICUT – Tomorrow is my eighth anniversary of this project. I’m celebrating by shooting film. As I said earlier I now have a Leica M3 film camera that works with my entire Leica lens collection. I’m processing my own film and scanning it to digital by photographing it with my Sony A7rii, which properly employed provides higher resolution and better “scans” than any scanner available. Below are a couple of film images as I’m testing workflow and technique to put film into production for a trip tomorrow to the Jean Dubuffet sculpture on the plaza downtown in front of the Chase building. The Dubuffet sculpture was the subject of the first picture that I took in this project eight years ago.

Day 2,922 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

Film shot of house
Film shot of hedge.

On this day three years ago (day 1,826): Telephoto of neighbors – experimenting with a long lens, which I don’t use all that often.
