NEW YORK, NEW YORK – From a sunset walk on the High Line.  Here’s a link for more information about the High Line: Link to High Line site.  Leica M9 and 90mm Elmarit. I’ve changed the image on this page after having second thoughts on the selection of the May 6 image.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – My birthday.  This image is of the  59th Street Bridge and a pylon for the Roosevelt Island tramway at sunset.  As of this post I’m adding information about camera and technique, not because it matters (the images speak for themselves) but to provide a bit more traction to search engines, which look for words, not pictures.  S0 . . . Leica M9 with a 28mm aspheric Summicron lens.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – Once again I’m stalking the Chrysler Building.  This time from behind the UN Secretariat Building, in color, shooting with medium format.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – 12 11 Park Avenue.  Limited time spent shooting today – most of my day was spent diagnosing and fixing the causes of this blog’s crash.  I think I have it sorted out, but the fix breaks the link to the photo in every post (there are now more than 180 of them) so I have to repair every link manually.  I’musing this as an opportunity to apply what I’ve learned in the past six months on indexing and key words, so the process is time consuming.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK –  Well here we are back at Tom Sach’s statue, Hello Kitty, in the sculpture garden at Lever House. This is a real urban oasis  As I’ve noted elsewhere Hello Kitty is a Japanese toy character owned by Sanrio.  Here’s a link: Sanrio
