BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS – I got up early today to take a walk in South Boston, ending up at Mul’s Diner for a breakfast of corned beef hash. An altogether satisfying experience. The light was lovely so photography was good. I’m putting up a mini gallery of South Boston images.

This is day 1,615 on one picture every day for the rest of my life.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I’m giving the Sony RX100 II a rest. Today I returned to my Leica Monochrom and 50mm Summicron Asph. lens – the best camera and lens combination for me ever. Really. Here we are looking up at Papa. Not a great image but it’s a step toward getting back to using a real camera.

MILAN – This isn’t much of a tourist city. There’s the wedding cake Duomo and the Galleria and the shoppers along the Via Montenapoleone, but these are all fairly well documented, even by me last year. Not much interest in repeating the process. Particularly today because the light is rather harsh. Here’s one from my iPhone.
