TOKYO – I’m here on business but have a fair amount of time to shoot with my Leica Q (the best point and shoot that I’ve ever had – very, very fast and the 28mm lens is a dream) and my iPhone 6S. I’ve had a lot of trouble editing so I’m showing a mini-gallery. I’m running a week behind my usual posting schedule, in part because of the number of images to sort through.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Here it is, another anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. I haven’t done anything special this year, just some typical street stuff. As usual with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm Luxochron lens.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I’ve gotten a bit behind posting here – I’m taking at least a picture every day but a trip to the Far East has messed up my posting schedule. I’ve got a bunch of images in the can and I’ll catch up by posting twice a day over the next few weeks.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – Tall grass near the swimming pool shot with my Leica Monochrom and 75mm Leica Summicron lens, which produces lovely “bokeh” (a Japanese word referring to the quality of the out of focus portions of the image).

WARREN CONNECTICUT – A couple of things. First, as I write this I’m actually in Tokyo, soon moving on to Hong Kong. My posts may be a bit delayed but I’ll catch up when I get back to New York next week.

Second, Basil the Norwich Terrier made it into today’s image but it really isn’t a picture of him, so I’m not violating my “no pictures of pets or cute kids” rule.
