ANNISQUAM MASSACHUSETTS – Still here for a wedding. We spent the morning in a friend’s remarkable garden.

NEW YORK NY and ANNISQUAM MA – We started this morning in meetings in midtown where I had a chance to catch a moment of transcendent light on Park Avenue. Followed by a long drive to Anniscquam and a pre-wedding party. What a day.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – There was a great big fluffy cloud straight over head on Park Avenue so I stitched a couple of wide images into an even wider one.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – So today I have a “dog ate my homework” story. This was a rushed day. When I got home in the early evening I found only one image from the day on my Leica, and the image was genuinely poor, not even a casual snapshot. I took it in the entry of the building that I go to for my rehab for my torn plantar fascia. Really a very poor image in all respects. So . . . at home I got out my pocket camera, a Sony RX100 II, and shot close-ups around our apartment for an our or so. I was quite pleased with the results. But on the following day (June 5) I somehow lost the RX 100, without having saved the pictures on it to my computer. I don’t much miss the camera (I was going to replace it anyway), but deeply regret the loss of the images. This means that I have to use the bad image, which is the worst image that I’ve ever posted here. But it keeps the one picture every day thread alive. Ugh.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I spent today at large in New York with my Leica Monochrom. My best effort was a six frame stitch of the Bank of America building across from Bryant Park – showing dramatically foreshortened perspective.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I don’t think that I’ve told you about my sore foot. A torn plantar fascia. I’m seeing a physical therapist for it on Broadway in the 60s so I’m spending time around Columbus Circle, where today’s images come from.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – I got out and around the garden for a few hours today. Everything is up and the mottled light was fabulous. I decided to shoot very wide and very close.
