Day 2525 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day five years ago (day 699): Hong Kong.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – I’ve added a new lens to my collection (I have lenses the same way that the women in my life have shoes): a 10mm full frame rectilinear lens from Voigtlander. This guy is really wide. No need to focus or use a view finder. Everything is in focus because of the extreme depth of field, and the framing of the image is . . . everything. Really fun.
Day 2524 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day four years ago (day 1063): Random building
WARREN CONNECTICUT – I got a break today so I spent some time outdoors with a tripod, working on rocks and trees. This image is two frames stitched, each taken with my Leica Monochrom and the delicious Carl Zeiss 15mm ZM Distagon lens.
Day 2523 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day six years ago (day 332): In the garden.
WARREN CONNECTICUT – A hassled day here. I barely got my shot for the day. Still shooting with my Leica Monochrom.
Day 2522 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day four years ago (day 1061): New York Life Building.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – I’ve finally gotten my second Monochrom body back from Leica where I had sent it for repairs over four months ago. So I’m shooting with two bodies and two lenses: my normal 50mm and the super wide 15mm Carl Zeiss.
Day 2521 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day two years ago (day 1791): Citicorp Center.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Here’s . . . the Park Avenue Mall. The keen observers among you will have noticed that I’ve done this sort of thing before. These days I’m working with my ultra wide 15mm Carl Zeiss lens on my Leica Monochrom which works well in near-far compositions.
Day 2520 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day four years ago (day 1059): Wedding in CT.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Walking around the Upper East Side, staying relatively close to home given that I’m very busy.
Day 2519 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
