NEW YORK NEW YORK – Very busy day at my day job so image capture was limited to whatever was available going to and from meetings. Pedestrian images.
Day 2582 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day two years ago (day 1851): Fall foliage
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Nice light on Park Avenue. Still experimenting with my Sony Camera.
Day 2581 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day last year (day 2216): Powder room. Why do we call these “powder rooms”? Running on fumes in terms of photo subjects. November 8 has not been a great day for me in the past 8 years.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – I’m working through a period of pushing the limits of my Sony a7rii camera. today’s images reflect that process – a demanding architectural subject and heavy backlight on the street.
Day 2580 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
Day 2580 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day four years ago (1119): Blizzard. Taken with my Leica Monochrom.
WARREN CONNECTICUT – Continuing to find my way with my little Sony camera. This image tests flare resistance. I have the remarkably good Zeiss Batis lenses for this camera, the 25mm and 85mm. They are good in every sense, including lovely rendering and good bokeh, and their technical performance is near perfect. Autofocus performance is crisp and positive. I’ve got the camera set up well for my needs and I’m getting past the teething pains adjusting to a new device.
Day 2578 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day four years ago (day 1117): Billboard
WARREN CONNECTICUT – Shooting for the next month with my Sony A7rII. Its 42 meg resolution is color is similar to the Leica Monochrom’s 24 meg without Bayer filter. The Monochrom provides cleaner files in BW than the Sony’s files after conversion to B&W but I’ll be spending a significant amount of time figuring out just how good the Sony files can be in B&W. This has to be standardized, at least for the first rough pass at editing or post-processing time explodes out of control. I’m working on it.
Day 2577 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day five years ago: Really close
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Not much going on today.
Day 2575 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
