WARREN CONNECTICUT – A perfect day for a lovely party put together by some neighbors. As you scroll down you’ll see an Aunt Alice shot – a lineup of people squinting into the setting sun. I object to these in principle but have decided to start taking them as a documentary record. Complain to my editor if you don’t like it. All images take with my Leica S2 and 70mm lens.

On this day last year: Urban poetry. A construction site in Manhattan. Proof that color has a function, despite by bias toward black and white.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – A pretty good day for pictures. I’ve posted an “out my window” today (two frames stitched taken with my Leica M and a 35mm Summilus Asph lens. Out my window shots are usually a sign of desperation but because of enchanting light this was the best image from a day of pretty good images. Here you go:

On this day one year ago: The Charles. Here we are in Cambridge.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Back home. Our flight back was as bad as our flight going. Delayed five hours in Milan. A hassling arrival at JFK as we struggled to master the new Global Entry system. Ugh. Back home we unpacked in the midst of a major heat wave. Cowering in air conditioning. There was a really weird sunset. Captured with my Leica M9 and 24mm Summilux.

On this day one year ago: another sick day. Both of my July 7th shots, this year and last, feature out my window views.
