WARREN CONNECTICUT – At last, some decent light. Passing storm clouds provided wonderful, dramatic light here this afternoon. We had some friends over in the evening so I’m providing a snapshot.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – So my very sore heel was diagnosed yesterday as a torn plantar fascia, a common occurrence, it turns out. The remedy involves limiting activity and waiting, among other things, neither of which am I particularly good at. This is going to impinge on my mobility for the next month or so, which limits the scope of things that come in front of my lens. So today is a little more boring than yesterday, and tomorrow may be more boring yet.

WARREN and WASHINGTON CONNECTICUT – We dropped in this evening to see our friend Barbara Robinson and to visit her rain-soaked garden, called Brush Hill. The first image below is looking up in our garden; the is from Barbara’s.
As you will see from the tiny red note below the date above this was posted on May 17. Yesterday this site was down for about four hours for maintenance and migration to a new, faster, server. NEW YORK NEW YORK – I walked through the Park in lovely light today for my annual eye doctor check up. All is well. I was functionally blind walking back through the park because my eyes had been dilated, but managed to get a few images with my Leica Monochrom.
