NEW YORK NEW YORK – In reviewing last year’s work for “on this day one year ago” I came across an image of a building obscured by a tree (scroll down and you’ll find it in Tuesday’s post). I’ve decided to do some more of these, so here is one from today.

On this day one year ago (day 1,279): Portrait.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Tax day. This is ordinarily a pretty grim day. “The ides of April?” But today was actually visually interesting. A trip to our daughter’s office provided a new angle on the local cityscape; a new lens provided a fairly energetic rainy cityscape out my window, and I got some decent images of our granddaughter.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Out my window with a long lens.

On this day last year (day 1,277): Look up once more. The original last year was in color; I do prefer it converted to black and white.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Another day on foot in Manhattan, mostly on Second Avenue. Tw years ago I was working on my 11th Avenue project, so I’g got a bunch of full frontal New York blacks today.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – This was a first day of Spring kind of day. I was up with the dawn’s first light with camera in hand.

On this day two years ago (day 910): Out my window at four different times. This is a riff on some of my earlier work where I set up on a tripod and took the same scene 24 times at one-hour intervals.
