WASHINGTON DC – I spent my day on foot here with drab, uninspiring light. Images are from the World War II Memorial on the Mall. Architecture in the Capital ranges from really good Beaux Arts to academic looking Beaux Arts. The WWII memorial is in the latter category.

ALEXANDRIA VIRGINIA – A travel day – a dispirited one because the usual three hour Acela trip from New York to DC actually took six hours. I was reduced to shooting with my iPhone in my hotel room to get my daily capture.
