WARREN CONNECTICUT – Shot with my Leica Monochrom and 24mm f1.4 Summilux lens. The first image is shot wide open at f1.4 demonstrating this lens’s amazing “bokeh” – the creamy character of the out of focus portions of the image.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – This was a scary in one-pnoto-every-day land. I imported a bunch of files to Lightroom to do my edits. Oddly there were no files of May 23. A disaster? A missed day? I reviewed the images and found a small group that were dated Saturday May 20 (when we were in Connecticut) but were actually taken in New York. I retraced my steps for May 23 and it was clear that these images dated to Tuesday, rather than the previous Saturday, as the EXIF data in the files indicated. In other words the camera made a mistake (that’s unlikely – clearly operator error). I don’t know how this happened, but here are the actual files from May 23.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – More work with my drone today. I’m getting more adventuresome in flying it, and working hard on photo technique. The Google maps-style shots continue to be dullish.
