NEW YORK NEW YORK – Now we’re talking. Out with my Leica Monochrom today and the lovely 75mm Summicron lens. Here’s a multi-frame capture of the Lipstick Building and Citicorp Center reflected off of 909 Lexington. Why haven’t I ever seen this angle before. My mojo is edging back into the picture.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – Still working with my Sony A7rII which has been converted to infrared light. I shoot without an infrared filter, which moderates the “white leaves” effect, which I don’t care for. Still shooting with the 21mm Carl Zeiss Biogen from the 1950s (I had previously reported that this lens was from the 1930s, which seemed unlikely and isn’t accurate, based on further research on my part).

WARREN CONNECTICUT – Today I’m shooting with a Carl Zeiss Jena lens from 1932. The focal length, 21mm, was remarkably wide for its time. I use an adapter that permits it to be mounted on a Leica screw mount film body. Next in the stack comes a Leica screw mount to Leica M adapter, and finally a Leica M to Sony adapter. Rube Goldberg but it actually works. I’ve mounted this combination on my Sony 7rII which I’ve had converted to infrared. Here you go:
