WASHINGTON CONNECTICUT – We had a hotdog smackdown today: Duck Inn dogs from Chicago, Usingers dogs from Milwaukee and Pat LaFrieda’s Shake Shack dogs. All consumed on Duck Inn buns with Duck Inn relish. Roasted on a Green Egg. I’m sworn to secrecy on the outcome.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – I photograph a fair number of trees around here because that’s what there is. We have a large number of ash trees, which are doomed and dying because of the emerald ash borer, for which there is no treatment or cure.
