MANHATTAN – After a bit of a dry spell I hit a bonanza of images today. A gusher. That’s the way it often happens. It’s vry hard to select a single image today – I’ll post multiple images for today on my social media accounts. For here I’ve selected a look up.

Day 5115 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life. A palindrome. Maybe palindromes are where the visual magic is located.

WARREN CONNECTICUT – A truly uninspired day here. The fall foliage is beautiful, but like beautiful sunsets it provides little opportunity for interesting photography.

Day 5113 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

Yawn

A rainy evening in New York. Day 2 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

WASHINGTON CONNECTICUT – We attended a hill climb sponsored by the Washington (CT) Auto Club. A lot of fun but not great photography. It’s too bad that I didn’t get any worthwhile images, as THIS IS THE 14th ANNIVERSARY OF MY PHOTO A DAY PROJECT.

Day 5112 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

Rally Car

On this day 1, the begining of this project, I went down to what was then called One Chase Manhattan Plaza. This website says that the first exposure in my saga was on October 16, 2009, but the Exif data in the image file tells me that the image was taken on October 14, 2009. So in light of the evidence I’m, declaring October 14, 2009 as the official date of the first image in this long series.
