WARREN CONNECTICUT – I’m shooting with a Leica SL2-P a lot these days, shooting mostly very old lenses. In this case the lens is a Carl Zeiss 21mm Biogon from 1955 – its rendering fits the day perfectly. An impressive performer.

MANTHATTAN – We spent a long morning at the Manet/Degas show at the Metropolitan Museum. One of my favorites is a Degas painting of Manet and his wife that was subsequently slashed by Manet. Seems wonderfully modern.
