HANOI – The highlight of the day was a longish ride in motorcycle side-cars through the old city of Hanoi. Not much cultural. The ratio of scooters and small motorcycles to population here seems like it roughly 1:1. Again we’ve planned a very easy day as a jet lag transition. Here’s Maria.

HANOI, VIETNAM – Long trips westward crossing the date line are a challenge in the photo-a-day world. You loose a day when you cross the dateline. I managed to get this right, by shooting with my phone and relying on it’s clock to have the correct date and time. This is the bedside clock in our hotel, the last thing that I saw after collaping into bed at the end of a 22 hour journey here, via Tokyo.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – Here we are on the RFK bridge at zero dark thirty on our way to JFK to start our 22 hour journey to Hanoi.
