WARREN CONNECTICUT – Today is the 16th anniversary of my photo-a-day project.

I decided to celebrate with an homage to Josef Sudek (1896–1976), known as “the poet of Prague,” who created images from objects such a crumpled paper in his studio, using whatever limited photo materials he could scrounge in Communist Czechoslovakia to produce images.   So . . . I collected a bunch of paper and crumpled it. Like disciplines such a dribble painting, it’s much harder than it looks to produce interesting results. Here’s my favorite of the bunch.

Day 5,845 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
