HANOI, VIETNAM – Long trips westward crossing the date line are a challenge in the photo-a-day world. You loose a day when you cross the dateline. I managed to get this right, by shooting with my phone and relying on it’s clock to have the correct date and time. This is the bedside clock in our hotel, the last thing that I saw after collaping into bed at the end of a 22 hour journey here, via Tokyo.

Day 5,894 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

Hanoi

Looking back exactly two years to Havana. We went to Havana with a group of artists on a trip organized by The Foundation for a Civil Society through our friend Wendy Luers, who has a large print of this image. Day 5,163 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
