MANHATTAN – I’ve shot this scene many, many times. I use it as a brick wall torture test for cameras and lenses. The light was interesting so I shot it today for its own sake. I shot the L-Mount 50mm Leica Summilux on my Leica SL-2s. This is the highest performance 50mm lens that I’ve ever sused, with lovely bokeh and rendering. It’s a marvel. But alas, a giant. Absolutely unwieldy as a walk around lens.
