NEW YORK NEW YORK – This is more like it. I had some time today at last to get in the moment and try to find my photo mojo. The results were ok – I’ve actually had some trouble editing September 19 so I’m presenting multiple images.
Day 1,800 of one picture every day for the rest of my life. 1,800! Fancy that.

On this day three years ago (day 704): Crane at Hong Kong container terminal.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – Back home but still running like the devil. At least the light is good so I’m capturing whatever is available in passing. Let me know if you’re getting tired of these.
Day 1,799 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.
NEW YORK NEW YORK – This was a productive day. A bit of a surprise. I spent most of the day closeted away preparing for two client board meetings later in the week and finishing The Magic Mountain for a meeting of my book group tonight. Today’s images nonetheless aren’t bad and were plentiful enough that I found it difficult to edit them.
Day 1,796 od one picture every day for the rest of my life.
WARREN CONNECTICUT – More work with long lenses today. This time the Leica APO-Telyt M 135mm. This lens really does have a lovely signature. Both images today are two frames stitched.
Day 1,795 of one picture every day for the rest of my life.

On this day last year (day 1,430): Grass on a perfect early Autumn day.
WARREN CONNECTICUT – Soe here I am experimenting with a Leica APO-Telyt 135mm lens. This lens has a legendary look and strong performance but it is the devil to use on a digital Leica M because the depth of focus is so thin and the 135mm frame in the rangefinder are small. I’ve put a 1.4x magnifier on the viewfinder and I’ve been practicing all day with focus, until I think I have it. Both images below are two frames stitched.
