WASHINGTON CONNECTICUT – Brie, at an ASAP event at Spring Hill. I’ve migrated back to my M11 Monochrom and a modern 35mm Summicron lens – which is what I reach for whenever I leave the house.

Day 5141 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

MANHATTAN – Still shooting legacy glass – today a Zeiss Jena Sonar from the early 1950s. This appears to be a construction site where the developers ran out of money.

MANHATTAN – I spent the day wandering around Wall Street without a fixed destination. Delmonico’s, eight decades ago, was one of the best restaurants in the country. Is it still good? I’ll plan on having lunch there next time I’m downtown.

MANHATTAN – Still shooting legacy glass on my Leica SL2-S.  This is the Chrysler Building shot with a 13.5cm Carl Zeiss Jena lens from 1936. A remarkable performer given its age.

MANHATTAN – I spent the day in Midtown Manhattan with my Leica SL2-S, which I use as a platform to shoot old lenses. Today I’m shooting Nikon rangefinder lenses from the early 1950s – this is with an 85mm Nikkor, which is still a stellar performer 70 years later.
