HANOI – The highlight of the day was a longish ride in motorcycle side-cars through the old city of Hanoi. Not much cultural.  The ratio of scooters and small motorcycles to population here seems like it roughly 1:1.  Again we’ve planned a very easy day as a jet lag transition. Here’s Maria.

HANOI – We had planned a relatively easy day here as part of our strategy to deal with jet lag. Here we are in a workshop in a ceramics factory.

HANOI, VIETNAM – Long trips westward crossing the date line are a challenge in the photo-a-day world. You loose a day when you cross the dateline. I managed to get this right, by shooting with my phone and relying on it’s clock to have the correct date and time. This is the bedside clock in our hotel, the last thing that I saw after collaping into bed at the end of a 22 hour journey here, via Tokyo.

MANHATTAN – A mad day here. We have a one day turn around from our trip to Palm Springs to our three week trip to Southeast Asia. I had time to shoot a vase.
