WARREN CONNECTICUT – We’re at the end of flowering shrub season: the mountain laurel are the last to bloom. Actually not the end. the hydrangeas happen next, and last all summer. Shot with my 50mm APO Summicron lens, which I treasure for its painterly rendering.

Day 6,092 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

Mountain Laurel

I guess this is the time of year when I photograph plants. Here is looking back nine years to birches and pachysandra.  And fog.  Day 2,805 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
