LITCHFIELD CONNECTICUT – It was a perfect clear, winter day in this Currier & Ives village, under a blanket of snow that hadn’t turned dirty yet. I struggle with places like this – it’s too perfect for me to create interesting imaging. So I ended up selecting a utility pole and a couple of signs.

Looking back exactly 15 years to the Congregational Meeting House in New Preston CT. I rephotographed this last week. It’s pretty much unchanged except for fairly severe paint peeling. The Church is obviously under some financial stress. Day 488 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
