NEW YORK NEW YORK – There was lovely light out our dining room window this afternoon so I decided to get close to the cityscape with a long lens. In the first place I reshot the shadow of the water tank that I originally shot on April 2 of this year. Then a few more. Once again I’m having trouble editing so please excuse the shutterrhea.

Hi Woody, I’ve only recently discovered your site, great pictures, I really enjoy the B & W ‘townscapes’ of NYC. I like the discipline that one picture a day instills esp in a familiar area, it really makes you think to come up with fresh images. The shadow of the water tower is is a good observation and the snow fence in Warren is simple and lovely, so full of atmosphere. Great work.
